This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Cute Apple uses, and how the cookie banner on this site works.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser. We also use your browser's local storage for your cookie choice, so it can be remembered, and to remember an invite code if you arrive from a friend's invitation link.

2. Categories we use

Essential: always on, needed to sign in and use the platform securely (see the table below).

Analytics: off unless you choose Accept all in the cookie banner. If we have switched on Google Analytics 4, it loads only after you accept, and records how pages are used so we can improve the platform.

Marketing: we do not use marketing cookies today. The category exists so you would be asked before any were added.

3. Third-party services

When you use a feature provided by another company, that company may set its own cookies: Stripe when you pay, Google or Apple when you sign in with them, and Google when address suggestions are shown. Their cookies are set and controlled by those companies under their own policies, not by us, and we are not responsible for them.

4. Managing your choice

The banner shown on your first visit lets you accept all cookies or continue with essential only. Your choice is stored in your browser and applied on later visits. Clearing your browser storage, or visiting from a new browser or device, shows the banner again. You can also control cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in working.

5. Changes and contact

We will update this page if our use of cookies changes. Questions can be sent through cuteapple.org/contact.

Cookie categories

Category	Description	Currently used
EssentialAlways on	Required to sign in and use the platform securely. These can't be switched off.	access_token / refresh_token: httpOnly sign-in cookies that keep you signed in. Cookie choice and invite code: kept in your browser's local storage.
Analytics	Helps us understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. Off unless you accept it. If switched on, we use Google Analytics 4.	Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*): only after you accept, and only when we have switched it on.
Marketing	Would be used to measure or personalise outreach. Cute Apple does not currently run any marketing cookies; this category exists so you're asked before any are added.	None active today.
